Northvolt looks for a Director of Manufacturing, Business Unit – Battery Systems

“The Northvolt Director of Manufacturing will be in charge of industrialization and manufacturing of our lithium-ion battery systems, material management, inventory, assembly, shipping and quality of the processes and products to meet the requirements of the production schedule and the customer’s delivery expectations”, says the company.

“You will be responsible for the development, implementation of controls and procedures for the achievement of high quality and efficient production flow through operations, both for our low-volume and planned greenfield high-volume facilities. You have experience of working with stakeholders, select, justify, acquire, install and qualify new production equipment and processes. We believe that you have a background in building and launching new production lines, and if you have done so for electronics manufacturing or battery manufacturing this will be considered a plus. You will likely know the vendors of machinery, factory equipment and automation systems from previous engagements.”

“You will be part of building a dependable team from scratch, capable of scaling Northvolt’s batteries operations in Sweden and beyond. As a Director in the Northvolt organization, you will be part of the business area leadership team and report to the President for Battery Systems.”
