Nissan’s former Program Director Bob Laishley joins Italvolt’s Board of Directors

Italvolt Spa, the company founded by Lars Carlstrom aimed at creating one of Europe’s largest Gigafactories in Italy, has announced that Bob Laishley has been appointed to Italvolt’s Board of Directors.

With a proven track-record in developing and delivering innovative solutions in the automotive industry, and a strong engineering background, Bobhas worked for almost 25 years at Nissan in various roles.His time at Nissan culminated as Program Director for Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) Partnerships and Sports Cars.Bob led the team responsible for establishing business and contractual agreements with other OEMs, includingMercedes Benz, Mitsubishi Motors and General Motors. He also played an important role in the development and launch of the current NISMO Performance range and the Nissan GT-R50, an exclusive model designed and produced as part of a limited run by Ital Design (IDG) of Moncalieri.
