Lumen Freedom, first wireless EV charging system for McLaren’s ultimate series Hyper-GT, the Speedtail

Ltd., Melbourne, Australia, a world leading manufacturer of Wireless Electric Vehicle Charging (WEVC) systems, today announce the supply of their first Wireless Electric Vehicle Charging system, to McLaren Automotive, Woking, United Kingdom, for the Speedtail Hyper-GT, as featured by the McLaren Tech Club.

WEVC will soon become the charging mode of choice with many vehicle manufacturers planning implementation of this new technology on future models.

WEVC provides hands free, efficient, clean and unobtrusive charging with performance levels equal to or greater than that of cable systems.

From static to Dynamic non-stop highway charging, the development and adoption of WEVC makes EV driving even more appealing and eliminates visual urban pollution. WEVC is also an enabler for the future development and uptake of autonomous driving.
