East Penn’s Chris Pruitt serves as BCI President

Chris Pruitt, CEO and President of East Penn Manufacturing Co., Berks County, PA, United States, was recently honored with the position of President in his service to the Battery Council International (BCI), Bctv.org reports. Mr. Pruitt and East Penn represent a long-standing membership of active involvement within this vital organization, and it support of the industry for many years.
“On behalf of BCI, we are pleased to welcome an impressive and accomplished group of leaders to the 2021 BCI Board of Directors to champion BCI’s strategic mission and goals for the year ahead,” said Roger Miksad, BCI Executive Vice President.
In addition to being on the Board of Directors for BCI, Mr. Pruitt is currently on other industry boards including the Automotive Aftermarket Suppliers Association (AASA) and the University of the Aftermarket Foundation. He currently serves as Chairman of the Board of the Wyomissing Foundation. He is also on the Board of Flinchbaugh Engineering. He has received the Eugene L. Shirk award for Community Builder, the Sydney D. Kline award for Outstanding Community Service, the William H. Doran award for his work with the United Way, and honored by the YMCA for his community service.
East Penn is honored to continue its tradition of having employees serve in many roles and committees at BCI including on the Board of Directors. The company applauds all those that continue to actively support the efforts of this accomplished industry organization.
