Battery industry veterans launch new company as exclusive Deka Motive Power representative for Salt Lake Metro and Utah

East Penn Manufacturing Co., Lyons, Pennsylvania, United States, has announced its partnership with Apex Industrial Battery, a newly formed company in the Salt Lake City, Utah, US, metropolitan area to meet the growing market needs of the region.

Apex Industrial Battery was founded with a purpose to help customers overcome the challenge of meeting multi-faceted motive power system needs along with finding the best service and support in the industry. Apex Industrial Battery will serve as an exclusive Deka representative offering a full scope of Deka Motive Power batteries (both lead and lithium technologies) also providing best-in-class chargers and accessories to power electric lift trucks.

Apex Industrial Battery’s founders, Matt Johnson (President of Johnson Battery Co.) and Gabriel Sampson (President of Averest, Inc.), have decades of motive power experience and ties to the industry, which dates back four generations. They have assembled a strong group of professional team members to ensure Apex Industrial Battery is the right company to meet the motive power needs of the area.
