Imerys Graphite & Carbon announces price increase effective June 1st 2021

For more than a year now, we have all faced extraordinary events that have created unique challenges across the manufacturing landscape. Over the last several months a host of market conditions have unexpectedly worsened, resulting in unprecedented cost pressures in manufacturing supply, labour, packaging and logistics.”

“Under these exceptional circumstances and in order to continue to meet its customers’ service expectations, Imerys Graphite & Carbon will be implementing price increases ranging up to 24%, and effective June 1st 2021. These increases will vary by product type, grade and packaging. Actual changes and timings will also vary depending upon the market drivers impacting specific products, as well as contractual agreements.”
